TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registration:
a. All participants must register for BITSMUN Goa through the official registration portal.
b. Registration fees are non-refundable.
c. Participants must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
Code of Conduct:
a. All participants must adhere to the code of conduct outlined by BITSMUN Goa.
b. Any participant found to be in violation of the code of conduct may be asked to leave the conference without refund.
c. Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards fellow participants, staff, and organizers.
Accommodation:
a. Accommodation will be provided to participants who opt for it during registration.
b. Participants are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation during their stay.
c. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and BITSMUN Goa will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
Conference Schedule:
a. The conference schedule will be shared with all registered participants in advance.
b. Participants are expected to attend all sessions and events as per the schedule.
c. BITSMUN Goa reserves the right to change the schedule at any time.
Intellectual Property:
a. All materials and content provided by BITSMUN Goa, including but not limited to research guides, position papers, and conference material,
are the intellectual property of BITSMUN Goa.
b. Participants may not use any such materials or content for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of BITSMUN Goa.
Liability:
a. BITSMUN Goa will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the conference.
b. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and insurance.
c. BITSMUN Goa reserves the right to cancel the conference at any time and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by participants as a result.
Termination:
a. BITSMUN Goa 2023 holds the right to terminate/ remove any member from the executive board due to any conflict or discrepancies or violation in the code of conduct.
Governing Law:
a. These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
b. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Goa.
By registering for BITSMUN Goa, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
GENERAL POLICIES
a. The Secretary-General is the only individual empowered to make exceptions to any of the rules mentioned as a part of all the policies in this document.
b. BITSMUN 2023 is not liable for any promises/exceptions made by other members of the organizing committee regarding fees or policies.
c. The BITSMUN 2023 Executive board/organizing committee reserves the right to amend the country/council matrix.
d. Additionally,country and council allotments are solely under the discretion of the organizing committee and the Executive Board members.
e. Council policies for every council shall be laid down by the Secretary General along with the Executive Board Members for the respective councils.
All Executive Board Members are free to exercise their freedom to conduct the council in a way that they deem best. No motion for censure/motion
for impeachment that will be entertained against any Executive board member for the period of BITSMUN 2023.
